Marco Beach Ocean Resort

It was so nice to be headed to an event on this first Friday in August and not have to worry about rain! The forecast showed 0% chance of rain and the radar showed the rain far away and moving away. So it was to be a perfect evening for our couple from Massachusetts, Shaunna and Randy.  The venue for their destination wedding was the Marco Beach Ocean Resort and they chose the Seaside Strings Quartet to provide the wedding ceremony music and cocktail reception music.

Shaunna and Randy chose a mix of music for their ceremony. For the prelude, we performed When I’m 64,  What a Wonderful World, All You Need is Love,  I’m Yours and Marry You.  As the grandmother was escorted down the boardwalk to the beach, the music for the ceremony began with the Pachelbel Canon in D.  The 2 Mothers were seated, the  Groom took his place, Patti Fuenffinger, the Officiate made her way down the beach followed by the Groomsmen, Bridesmaids and the Flower Girl.  Shaunna , escorted by her father, made her entrance to the piece, Trumpet Voluntary. Patti was amplified thanks to Dominick of Mobile Sound Entertainment so we did not have to worry about covering her up as she spoke and we played Hallelujah during the sand mixing ceremony.  With the introduction of the newly married couple made, the music Viva la Vida was the Recessional music for the wedding party.  During the group picture, taken by Doreen of Doreen Kline Photography,  we played the song Lucky and Handel’s Le Rejouissance. Then it was time to head to the terrace for the cocktail hour.

The couple wanted an upbeat atmosphere for the cocktail hour and the music they chose included Amazed, Brown Eyed Girl, Come Fly With Me, Crazy Little Thing called Love, Every Little Thing She Does is Magic, Firework, I Believe I Can Fly, Just the Way You Are Amazing, and Kokomo.

We hope everyone enjoyed their time in Florida and congratulations to the newly weds!!
