Lover’s Key State Park

It was such a gorgeous day on this Saturday in February for the wedding of Liz and Blair. Such a peaceful scene here on the beach at Lover’s Key State Park. We were blessed with abundant sunshine, low humidity, a nice breeze and the gentle sound of the surf. The couple chose the Seaside Strings Violin and Cello Duo to provide their ceremony music.

Wedding at Lover's Key State ParkIt was a small wedding planned by Stacey Gerhart of Isabella’s Island Style Weddings and Events. It can be an intimate spot since weddings are usually after hours and any remaining beach-goers are few. It is easy to park and hop on the tram to get to the beach. We arrived at 4:15 to begin music at 4:45. The wedding was scheduled for 5;15. The beautiful flowers were by Signature Florals, Emma Burdis was the photographer and Dr. Jim Berger was the Officiant.

Liz mentioned a love of Andrea Bocelli music and we mixed in quite a few with her other favorites. On the prelude playlist were these selections: The Prayer; Con te Partiro; Besame Mucho; Nessun Dorma; Ave Maria; At Last; Air by Bach; I Say a Little Prayer,  and Panis Angelicus.

We began the ceremony with the Theme from Forest Gump. Reverend Berger walked out with the Groom and 3 children. Our Bride Liz chose Over the Rainbow for her entrance music. As the seagulls gathered seemingly to watch the proceedings, Reverend Berger introduced the newly married couple and we played Signed, Sealed, Delivered as the Recessional. For Postlude, we played Stuck on You, Here and Now and La Vie En Rose.

We appreciated all the compliments we received and  are so glad the guests enjoyed our music. We enjoyed being here! Thank you and congratulations to Liz and Blair!
