The third weekend of October brought us back to Marco Island and the Marco Beach Ocean Resort for two destination weddings and both couples were from Massachusetts! Saturday’s couple, Ann and Ryan, chose the Seaside String Trio to provide the live music for their wedding ceremony. We arrived at 4:30 to set up and loved that Galina and her staff had already set up an umbrella for us. It was an ideal day so guests were enticed to arrive on the beach early to enjoy pre-wedding beverages. We began prelude music at 5 pm, just as planned.
You can see by the pictures it was just a gorgeous day with a cloudless sky. We shared the day with these great vendors: Patti Fuenffinger, Officiate, Kevin Morris from Botanicals on the Gulf, Tonya Malay, Photographer, and Dominick from Mobile Sound Entertainment.
The couple chose popular music for the prelude. Their favorites from our repertoire list were Ain’t That a Kick in the Head (Dean Martin); Over the Rainbow from Wizard of Oz; Annie’s Song (John Denver); A Heart Full of Love from Les Miserables; Moondance (Van Morrison); Moon River (Andy Williams); Through the Years (Kenny Rogers); Take Me Home, Country Roads (John Denver); When You Say Nothing At All (Alison Krauss) and Strangers in the Night (Frank Sinatra).
The Groom’s Parents and the Mother of the Bride were seated prior to the start of the ceremony to the music, Flower Duet by Delibes. Patti led the wedding party onto the beach to the music Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring by Bach. Ann chose A Thousand Years ( Christina Perri) for her Bridal Entrance and Here Comes the Sun was chosen for the Recessional.
As people mingled on the beach while pictures were being taken we played 2 more songs, You Are the Sunshine of My Life (Stevie Wonder) and You’re the First, the Last, My Everything ( Barry White) to conclude our part of the celebration.
We hope everyone enjoyed the evening and we wish the newlyweds much happiness!
